A collection of restaurants decorated in pretty flowers :)
Florida
1 Rue Montorgueil, Les Halles Station

Located near one of my most favorite areas in Paris, walk out of Les Halles station and head north to the start of Rue Montorgueil and here you will find the restaurant, Florida, decorated in pink petals flowing down from every part of the building.
The restaurant features outdoor seating with a front row view to an ending show of people watching. The restaurant sits at the beginning of Rue Montorgueil, leading to the Montorgueil area which is really one of my most favorite areas in Paris. Just follow the street down and you'll see why... it is one of the only areas closed off to auto traffic so you will find the streets bustling with people, walking up and down, socializing at the open air restaurants or on patios, testing the tasty treats at the markets. It's a really lovely place you need to check out, but I digress.
Florida, strange name but beautiful place and in a perfect location. And it becomes even more beautiful at night when the flowers glow with lights behind them and romantic music plays from the speakers.

The menu is not expansive. Don't expect to find all the famous favorite French dishes... like foie gras, onion soup or escargot. However they did have a delicious steak tartare with a twist and a kick. It's not traditional but if you like steak tartare it's worth a try.

Le Tambour
41 Rue Montmartre

I stumbled upon this beauty by accident. Heading west from my apartment rental in Montorguiel, in the direction towards The Lourve, this restaurant was about a 15 minute walk. Its tropical cozy feel beckoned me in. Generally in Paris I prefer to sit outside and take in the scenery and people watch, but it was the fall and although the sun was shining, the restaurant is located on a small street where the buildings block the sun from directly hitting the patio. So I ventured inside, and the scenery was just a gorgeous as on the outside.

I had a seat at the window facing out where I could still enjoy the street view. The waiters were fluent in english and super sweet. Unlike most restaurants in Paris, you don't have to call the serves over to you. They checked in often and were even concerned that I didn't like the food when I didn't eat it all. It was just so much food that I couldn't. Meanwhile, seated to my right, I witnessed a tiny French woman about my age pound down an entire burger that looked to have about 1lb of beef, along with all her fries. I really need to learn their tricks.

I've spent a lot of time wandering around Paris by foot. While these 2 were the only 2 that I sat down and ate at. There were many other spots blooming around Paris and I wanted to share and someday I hope to be able to review for myself :)
